" April is the cruelest month..."

Why was Eliot so right? but so wrong at the same time? Personal evidence would show that the cruelest month is clearly the deep dark depths of January or February, but for some reason April also has shown to be a cruel month. Why isn't March a part of this contest?! Well, I certainly don't have the answer but I find my self quoting Eliot every April and today I am going to muse as to why that may be so.

Budget wise- April is the Spring month where our finances suffer the most (Easter may be at fault). 1Point for April. February being shorter definitely does not have this problem.

Weather wise- January/February tends to have weeks of negative 25 degrees. 1 Point for January/February.

Spiritual wise- April marks the end of Lent. You may say "well doesn't that mean its a good thing?" Yes, but the end of Lent is horrible! Think of these last few weeks! Resolution run weak, emotions run high, and we suffer on. In January/February we still get to binge on carbsugarmotivation and February is normally the beginnningof Lent. But then Eliot also says "in the end is our beginning".....AHHH So 1 Point for April or 1 point for January/ February?!

Clearly I cannot decipher the cruelest month. The only thing I can decipher is the bottom of my coffee cup telling me I need more caffeine. Please help me decipher which month is the cruelest! Put me out of my misery by commenting what you think! I cannot be the only one pondering this!
